New curriculum to support attention, working memory and cognitive resilience
For professionals in high demand high stress work settings
Four one-hour classes live on ZOOM.
Forming focus groups for program evaluation.
Your group 4-8 colleagues. Free, scheduled at your convenience.
I’m seeking a group of colleagues to volunteer to be a focus group for this new curriculum.
Six or more persons to take the four session (one hour each) and provide structured feedback as a five minute questionnaire following each session.
The ideal schedule is one class per week at the same time and day (your group can choose when). An alternative is two classes a week on Monday, Thursday and Monday Thursday (or something similar. Time between each session is needed for a fifteen minute practice session using an audio recording for guidance.
The four core practices are standards in mindfulness courses: The body scan, focused attention meditation, open monitoring meditation, and compassion meditation. Variations of each are introduced. The four sessions include minimal didactic material (additional readings are provided) and focus primarily on gaining familiarity with the practices.
Audio recording to guide home practice and additional materials are provided on a password protected web page.
